SPORTSBIZ AFRICA Forum Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the SPORTSBIZ AFRICA Forum (hereinafter referred to as “the Event”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register for the Event.
2. Registration and Payment
2.1. Registration for the Event is mandatory and must be completed through our official website.
2.2. Various payment options are available, including credit card, debit card, and bank transfer. All payments must be made in full at the time of registration.
2.3. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly set forth in our Cancellation Policy (Section 3).
2.4. The organizers reserve the right to refuse registration or admission to any individual or organization without providing a reason.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1. Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the Event will receive a full refund, less a 10% administrative fee.
3.2. Cancellations made between 29 and 15 days prior to the Event will receive a 50% refund.
3.3. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made 14 days or less prior to the Event.
3.4. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@sportsbiz.africa.
4. Event Changes and Cancellations
4.1. The organizers reserve the right to change the Event program, speakers, venue, or date.
4.2. In the unlikely event of Event cancellation, registrants will receive a full refund of the registration fee. The organizers are not responsible for any other expenses incurred.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1. All intellectual property rights in and to the Event, including but not limited to logos, designs, text, images, and content, are owned by the organizers or their licensors.
5.2. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any Event-related materials is strictly prohibited.
6. Code of Conduct
6.1. Attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully throughout the Event.
6.2. The organizers reserve the right to remove any attendee for inappropriate behavior without refund.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
7.1. By registering for the Event, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy [insert link to privacy policy].
7.2. We use Mailchimp as our marketing automation platform. By registering, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms.
8. Communications
8.1. By registering, you agree to receive Event-related communications via email through Mailchimp.
8.2. You may opt-out of non-essential communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link in our emails.
9. Photography and Filming
9.1. The Event may be photographed and/or filmed for promotional purposes.
9.2. By attending, you grant the organizers the right to use your image and likeness in any format for promotional materials related to the Event or future events.
10. Liability
10.1. The organizers shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property, regardless of cause, in connection with the Event or attendance at the Event.
10.2. Attendees are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and insurance arrangements.
11. Force Majeure
The organizers shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations if such failure or delay results from events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, governmental actions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or pandemic.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Rwanda. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rwanda.
13. Amendments
The organizers reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Event website and will be effective immediately upon posting.
By registering for the SPORTSBIZ AFRICA Forum, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
